Sebring is just a stupid, old tradition IMHO. An WWII airbase street circuit's claim to fame... I would have never guessed it in a million years when cars first started racing at Sebring.
My ideal schedule... 15 races spread across the globe.
1. March - Nurburgring (24 hrs circuit) - 24 hrs
2. April - Silverstone - 6 hrs
3. April - Portimao - 3 hrs
4. May - Catalunya - 3 hrs
5. May - Spa - 24 hrs
6. June - Le Mans - 24 hrs
7. July - Hungaroring - 3 hrs
8. August - Fuji - 3 hrs
9. August - Bahrain - 3 hrs
10. September - Sao Paulo - 1000 miles
11. September - Austin - 10 hrs
12. October - Yas Marina - 3 hrs
13. October - Istanbul Park - 3 hrs
14. November - Shanghai - 3 hrs
15. November - Monza - 12 hrs
Imagine ending the season at Monza in November... classic.
Could also have Brno, San Luis, or Phillip Island in there as well... those would be great. I guess we could do an 18 race schedule...
