I am fearful - but optimistic at the same time.
I do believe the track plays a key role in what we like about the circuit. But I also think that the biggest thing is the atmosphere at the circuit - by the sea, in the sun (Well, last season...), camping and socialising, it's a great place for that.
I don't think we'll be in a position to use the full "GP" circuit apart from big promoted meetings, unless we suddenly get a dramatic increase in marshals. And, looking at the plans of the National and Coastal circuits, the track has clearly been designed to continue the "feel" of the old circuit. It won't be the same - it can't be - but I'm really hopeful that by this time next year those who enjoyed "old" Anglesey will have had the chance to enjoy the "new" Anglesey, and will certainly have done so.
