Disabled access is certainly a great deal better than it used to be, but there's still a fair bit more they could do IMHO. If I remember rightly the refurbishments to the pit complex and surrounding area are slated to include improved access for the disabled and there are certainly more ramps and suchlike than there were when I first went in 1999.
It's still a work in progress, but disabled provision is definitely better than ever before.
