I also read the full article and my honest conclusion is "you reap what you sow"......in my experience of race and road powertrain engineering, the best engines are the ones where both chassis engine and gearbox teams work in harmony. from what i can see on multiple projects is judd are just delivering engines with little respect to all the fine integration detail. they have lost over 3/4 their lmp customers this really does say something.
