This morning -- a network t-v profile of Mad Max -- complete with shots of him taking the checkered, pumping iron, running on the treadmill and working out on the stationary bike.
AND -- he was live on the (outdoor) set of the CBS "Early Show" -- WITH his car. He charmed the co-host, Jane Clayson, offering to take her for a spin through Manhattan traffic.
Why Max? Why CBS? Because that's David Letterman's network . . . and, as we know, David is one of Max's bosses.
