Just a little update on the above
Stimola sometimes ran two 80As in 1981
Phipps' car [the #90] was royal blue, whilst a photo of Lerch in the #45 shows it to be white with red cockpit [same colour scheme as the Opert car]
This suggests Nelkin as favourite, but it also hints at Manaker's car [royal blue in 1980] except that Manaker advertises that car in April 82 as unraced in 1981...
