Thought I’d go ahead and post this a bit early as
the entry list is out and there are some interesting developments. Entries by class:
P2: What was a 15-car field at Silverstone and 14-car field at Imola is down to 11 cars for the third round at the Red Bull Ring. The three cars that were at Imola that
won’t be at the RBR are:
#22 So24 by Lombard Ligier JSP2/Judd
#28 Idec Sport Ligier JSP2/Judd
#34 Race Performance Oreca 03R/Judd
The absence of these three cars leaves the LMP2 field entirely Nissan-powered!
P3: 19 cars this time, all Ligier JS P3 - Nissan. The Ave Riley’s homologation has been delayed, so it won’t race at the Red Bull Ring. Murphy won’t be running in LMP3 this race with some other car type as a temporary replacement, so we’re down a car versus Imola.
GTE-AM: The same eight cars that were at Imola are scheduled to be at the RBR.
