Out of curiosity, have you ever driven an RS3 to understand how hard / soft the suspension is?
I have not. I understand it is very soft compared to cars I like, like the Civic Type R and Megane RS Trophy, but if the transient response and body control is equivalent to those feel free to correct me!

Look at the roll (and listen to the tyres) when compared to the Civic, how is that not soft, am I missing something?
Audi RS3 L'Argus test
Civic Type R LE L'Argus test

I like hoppy/darty and eager to turn. Remember the old Super Tourers? So fun!

The Civic has that classic hoppiness/overdamping which just makes things fun! Eager to turn!

I don't understand how people like numb steering and soft sidewall tyres.

The road is perfectly smooth? You don't feel anything.
The road is bumpy? You still don't feel anything.

Perfect for a Buick Park Avenue, but for cars that are meant to be fun it makes everything the same, I'm not a fan.
