Sadly, I'm almost certain it's a net positive for whatever metrics are used to monitor engagement. Even more sadly, from working with the target demographic in my daily job, I can see that it works rather well.

This would be a good justification for other teams/manufacturers to base an official complaint on, without looking like sour grapes or politics.
