I think it falls in between both extremes.
There is no doubt the event/series shall provide an opportunity for marketing the vehicles.
If you look at My105 at the moment you will see this is not just from a distributor/manufacturers point of view - private owners are now mentioning "Clipsal elegibility" in their advertisments.
At the same time, you will see from this post that I have also been keen to hear from owners of one off or low volume cars to see if we can accomodate them (even the hypthetical ones
).
Notwithstanding, none of the cars shall be "free".
We need to ensure the field is competitive and the racing close.
I'm told it's what the spectators and entrants want.
