Slightly off topic, but considering this point that only the Level 1 & 2 franchises will be allowed in the 1000 from now on, and with TEGA showing that they are eager to get the grid down to 32, this means the 1000 will be locked at 32 entrants each year. Complete stupidity, and abit of hypocricy considering the caning Super Touring copped from the V8 fraternity when it had a 'small' grid of 27 cars in 1997.
