I love Taihape! Should I now mention I have about 20 cousins who live there?
Also spent a lot of time rallying there, great events...but also 3 years with a young driver who was based there who had all the talent in the world! A NZ Junior Champion that like so many just lacked the funds to move on. Poor bugger had to move to Masterton......
