If they are serious about being part of the future, there's your perfect builder for a 575 HP Ecotec turbo. Bring it to Indy as a Lotus engine, or sell the badging to GM or Vauxhall.
I can't see how Lotus would be rewarded the exclusive chassis contract, even if they thought it was a good investment to go after it.
