I think that's exactly it. IMSA is ok with the BOP being even because the teams want that. And over the course of a race the all pro lineups will be far more laptime consistent than the required AM drivers in most cases. If Madison Snow keeps the car up front, great for him well done but will many of the AMs? Most likely not enough to be out front all the time and make it a problem
