To design and build new cars the budget could be in excess of £1,500,000 but budgets do vary a lot for example a 1yr old ETCC BMW costs £135000 for the same price you could probably buy 2 upgraded Production Civis plus spares basicaly you get what you pay for. How many days testing? who pays for accident damage?all these items plus many more will affect the final budget.
