I'm a little confused. Isn't the entire field switching to an alternative fuel next year? And if the Veloqx car is designed to run on a variety of biofuels, why would Total's Chateau d'Octane*, or whatever that's called, be a problem?
Quote:
Li hasn't ruled out a Veloqx return before 2024 or '25 and suggested that it could be back on the grid as early as next year.

This seems to suggest that Li is considering getting the team to race whatever (LMP2?) just to get into the groove before Veloqx Fangio is ready.
*PS: guess who wins Spirit of Le Mans award next year!
