We use a fullers earth (kitty litter) type material at Rockingham - can't be having fluid on an oval. It's very effective - but I understand the yanks have moved on to a gel type product, that works and then 'converts' to a powdery residue.

Detergent will be used at the end of the day, on any significant spills into the tarmac - as the oil will kill the tarmac if left untreated.
