Croft and Rufforth were my local circuits when I started racing in 1966 and raced against Brian Robinson several times but I don't recall a 4 hour relay race there. I don't recall any reference to a relay race there subsequently.
I know the local Darlinton paper covered Croft dairly well so I will contact them to see if they have an archive dept. with any further info.
