An aquaintance, who's wife is a colleague of mine, is a former Indy/CART racer who lives in Indianapolis.
He has no interest in fighting the crowds, but will watch on TV.
He is, however, attending some of the parties!
He also said that some of the F1 drivers were invited to try out an unnamed CART team's cars at another oval track in the area. That would be fun to watch.
