Same chassis as the 2009 cars, and same basic suspension. Only the bodywork changed, and Audi had at least one test in the rain at Monza. In the rain, mechanical grip is what matters, and in that respect, the R15 should be just as good as if not better than last year(the changes have put more emphasis on this area). And when one considers that the 908s have supposidly had minimal development over the last year since Le Mans, and based on the fact that a Morris Marina would've handled better in the rain at PLM last year, it wouldn't surprise me if there is a several second a lap gap at Spa if Peugeot haven't finally learned their lesson, like at LM '08, Silverstone practice '08, and early on at PLM in '09. It also wouldn't surprise me if a Pug or two get wadded up in an accidnet as badly as the go in the rain.

Why is the 908 so bad in wet conditions-something about the Michelin rain tires that suit the Audi better, or is the Pug's rock hard suspension and inerter damper/J-damper causing problems?
