Personal preference is all good. But trying to put down what other people like by saying they aren't proper race cars is where it goes beyond personal preference and it becomes gatekeeping elitism.
FWD race cars are proper race cars. They are especially proper touring cars. It is the entire backbone of touring car racing around the world. I also prefer RWD - and big honking V10s that make an astounding amount of noise. But that doesn't mean BTCC cars aren't proper racing cars
Some properly mental stuff gets said about the FWD/RWD stuff. I kinda wish TOCA would mandate it so we could get rid of the nonsense.
