A few weeks ago, Mansell threw his support behind Group Lotus (who are producing the LMP2 and GT2 Lotus cars, of course) rather than Tony Fernandes' Lotus Racing. Coincidence? Or unrelated?

The move to GT certainly fits in with what I was hearing around October/November time last year. I like the Mansell/Lotus connection, the family could be great ambassadors for the marque's return to sportscar racing.
