The Le Mans official guide (AUTOhebdo) says that the controls will be reinforced at the entrances for all spectators and vehicles including campers one for security reasons. So I don't know if jerrycans will be tolerated in the circuit area.
It would be better to refuel before leaving UK and get a restricted amount of fuel in France. The limit is 20 or 30 litres per vehicle in some stations.
