Japanese auto manufactures needs western sportscar racing. the SuperGT races do not have any structerd racing out side of Japan and Indonesia. For Brand awarness on the " looks like street car" marketing, expanding the Honda, Toyota, Nissan, etc, brand name they will need to adapt to FIA/ACO racing. Not the other way around.
