There was a threat of Oulton being sold off for houses a few years ago. That shook up the locals. They didn't like the sound of race cars, but the thought of a huge housing estate on their back door, devaluing their properties soon changed their minds and funnily enough, they all became racing fans overnight...........

Cake and eating it I think.
