I think part of it may be that the circuit is owned, (I think), by the people who sanction and run the sport. Instead of circuit owners charging a bundle for a club to rent it. The advertising for it is pretty good as well. It all happens so fast as well. If there is a pause in the meeting they fill it in with something to watch, instead of everyone standing around like lemons.
I reckon there were about 4,000 people there, plenty of families as well.
