“We switched the dates between Bahrain and Japan due to a major logistical problem for freight and staff just after Brazil,” said WEC general manager Gerard Neveu. “It was a request from most of the teams and it makes good sense for our WEC calendar.”
He described the avoidance of a clash with Petit Le Mans on Oct. 20, which was a by-product of the change, as a “good fact.”
