JPM's view on qualifying
from www.f1-live.com
“It's going to be a challenge to know how far you can push. You might lose a lot of time by only one single mistake. And then you drop down three or four places in the grid. It's going to be very interesting what people will do. It's going to make the grid a bit more interesting. You will probably see a Ferrari or one of our cars starting from position ten. It will happen. We have 16 races next year, and it's unlikely that you have 16 perfect laps in qualifying.”
I've never been a fan of the one off "super-qualifying" i believe that every driver should be given the same oppertunity at the same time, but if JPM's views are correct then hopefully it will improve the "spectacle" next year. At Maylasia this season. seeing JPM and TGF battle their way through the grid made for one of the better races of the year. How good would it be if both JPM and TGF were to qualify alongside each
other in 10th and 11th.
