If WEC/ACO/FIA aren't careful then the IGTC will take over as the de-facto GT makes championship. As ever, Ratel seems to have seen very clearly which way the wind is blowing.
Factory-backed teams from as many as ten manufacturers running a worldwide series covering Bathurst, Laguna Seca, Spa, Suzuka and Kyalami looks a lot more like a GT world championship than WEC does at the moment.
