It was the first meeting of the Ssangyong utes.
I thought it was great. Cory Holmes might be a real talent - I hope he gets a go in a proper rally car one day.
Would a bit of basic telemetry from at least one vehicle to show they are going faster than 50 km/h if superimposed on the tv production ?
and maybe a few comments from a few drivers as they are going around. (the angle of the in-ute cameras did not quite show the dial speedo, I was mainly watching the steering wheel tussles when they were doing slides in the wet)
The 2015 Formula Ford ecoboost 3 cylinder (Formula 4) is likely to cost more than 38K euros as the starting point.
NZ needs its own vehicles - as rear wheel drive vehicles could the Ssangyong utes be like the Mk1 Escorts were in their day ? ( a starter production based vehicle for motorsport purposes.)
