It might have looked like GT1, but really wasn't in performance when it required more BoP gifts than "standard of the class" Ferrari 488 to win. Let both of them run unrestricted and 488 would've won. Never understood why people talk it as homologation special esq prototype... MC12 was it not
Anyway I disagree on visuals, it's 'fine' but the P1s looked much better (except for the newer R18 and TS040 which looked horrible)
