Newman-Haas leaving for the IRL won't be the death of ChampCars.
This sort of scare-mongering occurred earlier on when Paul Tracy was apparently thinking of leaving.
Apart from the Indy 500 and free Honda engines (which could disappear at any time) the IRL has absolutely nothing solid to offer.
