Okay, I can see how that would be a "win" for the IRL, in taking away CART's showcase American race and screwing up their announced opening date; however, I'm sure that eventuality would be included in Plans A thru D mentioned before.
If everything is sorted and both series run next year, the rivalry is going to be breathtaking.
