Don't think that anyone will ever know for certain! (this is not a Michael bash, but) whenever he seems to make a mistake, Ferrari seem more than willing to take the blame. Suzuka '98 was a good example of that, it was thought that Michael was to "hasty" in getting to the grid after the parade lap, thus sitting there longer than he really should have and overheating his clutch. Ferrari were adament that it was a simple clutch problem, but it didn't happen after that, including the second start. Coincidence that it merely happened? Again, something that we will never know.
