It's surprising especially that BMW wouldn't organize a car or two for their pro drivers to come to grips a bit better with the new car. Especially as they have a decent few who are going to be primarily doing US based racing this season.

I think manufacturers have well and truly decided GTWC America is for Pro-Am customer supported entries, and IMSA is where they send their PRO entries in the US
