LMS Silverstone 2010
Hi,
Does anybody know what circuit configuration will be used? The new Arena GP Circuit or the Old GP circuit that was raced last year Thanks |

Will the campsites be open for this event, does anyone have any experience of them?

Whittlebury Park will be open plus Silverstone is offering camping for £25. I stayed at Whittlebury a few years ago & enjoyed it-live music on the Saturday night. Nice walk through to the circuit aswell.

Me and my dad are thinking about hiring an MPV, travelling down on Saturday, spending Saturday and Sunday night at the circuit, if possible.
Can you stop inside the circuit, is that a popular spot? Do you book through the circuit, or just turn up? Last edited by JAG; 21 May 2010 at 17:55. |

Camping inside the circuit is impossible I'd say..isn't the new track layout exactly at the places the campsites for marshals were before?

I've used Whittlebury several times (hopefully again this year) and arnie's right about that walk. I wouldn't even bother thinking about the circuit itself.

At the FIA GTs the circuit camping was on the outside of Copse, on the sort of concretey-scrub land immediately outside the perimeter fence.
No brainer to go for Whittlebury instead in my opinion, more attractive & better facilities. |

I have stayed at Whittlebury before this meeting and I think it was little cheaper if you book in advanced. I will be there for this (well I am missing the main event) but only on the Friday and Sunday, I can't do the Saturday as I have to go to a Wedding.
