marshals racing for charity in 2cv 24hr help needed!!
hey all,
me and another marshal are considering running a car at the 2cv 24hr next year all in the name of charity. we have no experience of setting this up and are looking for help and guidance to try and get this idea running. all is not lost however as it appears we have a pro driver in the form of paul o'neill who is happy to drive for the team and possibly a quite big celeb sponsor! on the charity side a major high street bank is willing to double anything we make for charity. any help would be appreciated in trying to get this project moving! cheers from the gravel monkey aka andy |

Hi Andy, do you mean the 24hr this year (August) or really next year (2009) ?
It would be great to have Paul O'Neill driving - almost a local driver to you. As Dean says, sign up to the 2cvracing.org.uk forum and start asking questions - most of the guys on there are very friendly and more than happy to help a novice get into 2CV racing. |

Damn, I was looking to race in this next year. Certain Mr Y has convinced me and I am saving for it currently.
If you need another driver willing to pay his way, then I'll be up for it. |

Hi Robin - I'm sure I can fit you into a team somewhere. If you can pay for it, a seat can almost magically be made available
