TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
IPO... is he GOD??

As hard this is for me , but was Crash Bandicoot ripped off for his penatly drive through for a jump start, well I think he was.

And as I write this CL just got penalised for his entry into pit lane, well even though it was CL fault for damage to 888 his car was a damaged vechile so entry to pit lane was in duress.

Does the IPO dissions need to be looked into. BLODDY OATH.

If he had pulled up over the line then also counts as a jump start, maybe that is where the issue is.

If that was a Jump start by Rick then my grandmother has three testicles.

Lowndes moved first.

if a message can be conveyed to a driver from the IPO or Judge of Fact, telling the driver he has to pit for "X" infringment....then why can't that same message be relayed to C10, so we the public can be informed as to why driver "Z" is heading to the pits for a drive-through penalty.....sounds simple enough......they just have to make sure the crime fits the fine.

R Kelly was Ripped off,
Mr Lowndes should have been given some form of
leniency pulling into the pits considering he struggled to get the car in there.

Maybe he should have slowed down a bit sooner then.

If #10 is monitoring the Race channel on the radios, they can tell what's going on. George Smith, long time Brock and Bridgestone crew chief, is the bloke who looks after this for #10... perhaps they got a little busy & ignored him...

I thought they had it covered from the get go. They knew it was for the jump start, just that the video evidence didn't seem to back up the penalty.

I'm not real fond of the little sook either but once again we see a possible race winner shafted by the spasticity of the IPO.

I will not pay to attend a V8 Supercar race meeting - it's decisions like this that make me take that standpoint.

Mate, don't worry about the spelling, the word is perfect,

In fact, I'm sure the IPO might even take up the Buckshot challenge, and use it in a closing adress sometime soon......

Sadly though there arn't too many closing adress' in conveyencing

Must have been watching a different race to me?? Seriously showed a few different angles and if anything, Lowndes moved first, but as Cromley said, they (channel 10 funnily enough) never showed an angle when the lights turned green and when the cars jumped...

Ripped off I reckon.

Get it right IPO!!

Actually it's not the IPO, as explained on 10 it's 1 of 5 judges of fact who report it to the IPO and the penality is handed out so blame the judge of fact in this case.

Yes you are correct JOF makes that call - IPO then imposes the penalty

do not see a lot of people lining up for the job

To give Rick his due he pretty well brushed hte question aside on the podium. Maybe he is starting to mature.

Makes you wonder why those sorts of decisions can't be checked against video evidence etc before the penalties are handed out. It is pretty obvious most people agree he was dudded.

They never show the whole event, I bet there was a jump early, he then threw the clutch, which is where the TV picked it up, then he appeared to start OK.

BTW, just a clarification, more than half the Judges of Fact have to agree for it to be refered or a penality imposed. In 'normal' racing events, it is the Clerk of Course who dishes out the punishment for this type of offence, timing, a Assistant Clerk of Course and the Clerk of Course are normlly all Judges of Fact at 'normal events', so 2 of the 3 have to agree, it is always best if all agree.

The scary bit is you can't appeal against a JOF.

I think it was at the press conference he said he had his head down looking at the lights and he wasm't 100% sure if he rolled or not himself so there you have it from the horse's mouth.
