Bilbao Urban Circuit
I think the circuit is awesome , with those two bridges over the river. It's unique and it's going to be a hard time for the drivers in the World Series.
I expect no less than 3 Safety Car periods in the main race....... What do you think? http://www.bilbaourbancircuit.com/_b...e2a5495fa819af |

Looks good - what else is it going to be used for except the World Series meeting?

They race over bridges, crazy - I hope the barriers there are as solid!

I heard that the track was fair to poor; marginal safety. lots of laps run under the safety car

I have been told that it's much too bumpy and dangerous. Some drivers have made their thoughts known and are afraid that the race could be not exactly the safest. I personally think that as an idea it's great, but in practice, it's not the brightest of ideas. If tomorrow there is a serious accident, then what? It actually worries me.

I'm worried about that too, a great circuit it may be (layout-wise) but if its too dangerous to race on then, cancel the races.
Alfonso - Sorry I never came over at Silverstone, was on my way over to your garage after talking to Ryan and saw you walking the other way, never saw you again.lol |

Very, anyone have any photos of it? Renault Sport websites gallery is very limited and the trackmap gives away very little

Pity we missed Kidzer, next time just ask the boys and they will hunt me down
Pity about Ryan, the team are good, even won the last race, but the poor guy just has so much bad luck. None of it his fault I must point out. As a matter of fact, I rate him as one of the top drivers in GP2. Hopefully it will all come through in Germany. |

Robert Kubica won Race 1, Will Power won Race 2.
Today's was a remarkable race, really see the WS cars at Bilbao circuit remind me when F1 raced in the U.S. street tracks like Detroit, Dallas or Phoenix. The circuit was very bumpy but this added more interest to the race: it was great when Danielsson or other drivers had to correct their trajectories to avoid spins. Both race winners demonstrated good abilities and strategies and a great mention to Milos Pavlovic who showed he could do good races again. |

Well,I was there, just got back.Lots of delays and several qualifying sessions cancelled. It is certainly an impressive circuit. Only complaint I have is they need to sort out the ticketing arangements.Despite the most expensive 120EU ticket, you did not get a numbered seat!
