Thanks Jason, that's lovely, he will have number 16 next year, I just doubt that K-mart will be on the door with it.

I'm sure Garth's website would be the place to break major news.

After a quick check of ASIC, K MART RACING TEAM PTY LTD racing changed its name to KELLY RACING TEAM PTY LTD on the 23rd of November 2004.

MMMM Kelly Gang in K-Mart out......

There is also a Super Cheap Auto Racing registered as a business in QLD, but with no details, or even a date first registered.

Did you read the topic properly??? The original poster only states that K-mart racing is no more... Others go on to GUESS what your saying above about K-mart following Murf & SC to Kelly gang!!

TheMan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
My information suggested to me that Super Cheap and PWR have formally done a deal as of yesterday. If this is the case and they are getting K-mart instead then it makes my information sound a bit off. But I highly doubt that this will happen and you will find two PWR Super Cheap commodores next year as well as the Super Cheap Auto 1000. Super Cheap Auto Racing has existed for some years. Weren`t SER known as Super Cheap Auto racing, I am thinking about 7 or so years that name has existed.

Uncle Bob isnt coming back, that is a guarantee! Even though TC spoke in glowing terms in the Bathurst program that the BJTM will exist in perpetuity....

Someone should hire him some new ghost writers

AJ308, was never going to be Repco 1000, but was possibly going to be named after a brand that one of the Repco group of companies sells.
But the rights have been taken by someone already, possibly SCA, autobarn or similar.

And to think, we as loyal racegoers, attuned to buying products from companies who support the sport we enjoy, have our houses filled with James Hardie products.... either the ones they currently make, or the ones they did....

As I sit here typing this, I can see the Hardie Dux hot water tank out the window... purchased on the basis of sponsorship of the Great Race... and of Fitzy's Supra that won the JH 12 hour... The Dux business is now owned by others.. but who else necessarily knows that when looking at the boycotts?

Un Crank was spot on.......

Ch10 News has just confirmed that K-Mart has gorne.

Maybe they should try for sponsorship from Target and get the big Bulls Eye on the rear bumper to make it and easier thing to hit

The latest has Uncle Tom pulling his HSV sponsorship off HRT & PWR and giving it to Kelly Racing to replace Kmart. If this turns out to be true, will KMR be known as HSV Racing??
