O'Schumacher should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Italian Formula Renault

I met a Brazilian guy in the paddock at Silverstone over the GP weekend. He introduced me to his new protege, who is currently lying 6th in Italian FRenault. Trouble is, I cant remember his name. Can anyone give me a weblink or some more details about him. I want to know wether to look out for him in the future.

All I know is that he's been a world Karting champion and raced FFord in the UK in 2001.

I trawled through the back issues of AUTOSPORT and found he finsihed 4th in UK Jr FFord in 2001, behind Steven Kane, Tom Gaymor and Stephen Colbert. He was ahead of Ben Clucas and Mike Conway, but ran out of money so went back to Karting in Brazil.

I think you talk about Roberto Streit, who is Brazilian. I found his milestones at italiaracing.net:

Roberto Streit
Nato a Rio de Janeiro (BR) il 17-Nov-1983

2001 - Campione F.Chevrolet Brasiliana
2002 - 4° F.Renault Italiana; 9° F.Renault Europea
