So, I assume that the car is pensioned off in someone's garage now, from what I make of the interview, the car wasn't legal after 2005 season.

It's a spaceframe.

It would be brown trousers all round for that one

€70,000 is a lot of dosh alright, particularly given the fact you can't really race it very many places. During that crazy scene where the guy's sitting in the car as its strapped down on the rolling road, I couldn't seem to see the back wheels moving, could be just the bad screen I have here. I naturally assumed that it was 4WD... surely its not FWD is it ?

The rules state no turbocharged spaceframes.

So, throw away the flame spitting chattering 2.2 Audi 5-pot, and fit a Chevy LS7 - 7Litres of 550bhp grunty alloy block/heads steel innards thing straight out of the crate - before you start tuning it.

That would be legal.

And awesome.

It was filmed during test session. Racetracks in Finland are quite expensive to rent only for one car (without sponsors). It´s is quite common in finland that at racetracks have those "free practices" where cars and motorcycles can go same time to the track (cheaper). Thats why we have those racetrack days where those goups are at different times.

For whatever reason the video is not working for me but it sounds a lot like a Dahlback car...

try looking at www.dahlbackracing.se for more info on them - they produce some awesome bits of kit!!!
