fast95pony should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
My car won a prize...

I placed first in my class at the local Mustang Club show. My room mates got a chuckle watching me spend all day Friday detailing the car. I went through every air vent with a Q-tip to get the dust out ! The interior is almost like new now.Nice and shiny. When I started on the engine ,they left in disgust. The exterior was already reasonably clean. There were only 3 cars in my class (1994-1995 modified ) so I had a good chance.
Too bad the weather sucked . It started off okay, but then the thunder and hail and rain came. The high end cars left (Two Shelby's , a Boss 351, and several Cobra ragtops),and the rest of us were soaked. It was worth it in the end.

Haha !!

If only my apartment was close to being as clean as my car !!

I'll get under the car and polish the stainless steel tail pipes , but ask me to dust the furniture...nope !!

Its a good feeling when your effort pays off.

Won a prize (a slab of beer )at a ute show once with my old ute. It was judged most original. The judge nearly wet himself when he saw the milage on the car, approx 70,000km on a 25year old car. Made all the polishing worth it.

The Mustang spends most days in a garage and stays clean (mostly..) The Focus is enthusiastically daily driven ,eats the occasional cone every 2 weeks , and is sorta clean !
Working 4 days on , 4 days off helps too...
