Just thought that you guys should know that I am bringing two friends from America along to marshal at this event, so if you see a couple of guys dressed in white instead of orange, you'll know what's going on.

When I was in the Navy back in 1996 I visited New York for a port visit, and rather than spend 7 nighhts in the Big Apple I went up state to a circuit called Lime Rock Park to marshal, and met Jim Taylor; he was good enough to put me up and feed
me in his caravan.

We've kept in touch ever since, and now he and his wife are visiting the UK, to do some flagging over here.

Please come along and say hello, and find out a bit about marshalling in the USA!

I'm quite sure there'll be plenty of waving from the Unit Andy, so as you know they will be sure of a warm response there (each time around).
