CombeMarshal should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
A1GP Today

13 Marshals to push a car on a live track (could have been 15, to many to count), Think they need some training days! (oh, and the car was on tarmac)
And also on the last corner, of the last lap of the race, the car was relatively safe, so why not wait till the race is over before moving it??

Racing was good though, much better than that F1 malarkey!

I didn't actually see the race as was at London Motorsport Show - what position was the car in with the 13+ marshals pushing it? Doesn't sound particularly good anyway!

Also, perhaps someone should demonstrate to them how to wave a yellow flag! His attempt was quite entertaining
Pitty it should have been green not double yellow

If you're having problems finding sites STIG, there's this new tool on the interweb you can use.

I think it's quite new, and not certain if it'll catch on - I hope it does cos it's darn useful. It's called Google. It's at www.google.com.

Hope that helps.

...Ok, Humour a poor demented Stig...

Right. having since discovered that this was a race in Indonesia - and round 5 when I thought they were on 2 - I'm not too surprised that marshalling practices are not quite what we'd expect if they were here... Wasn't this the circuit where a driver rescued a compatriot from a burning car earlier in the year?

A1 Gp

AI GP in in Dubai this weekend (the race is on the Saturday). In view of Shelagh's comments about marshalling there and in Bahrain it will be interesting to see if there have been improvements.
