2005 Sportscar Fantasy Challenge Round4 24hrs of Le Mans
starting next year (or maybe earlier), this fantasy challenge will move to the-paddock.net.. im not sure if we will move it this year, or just develop a system in time for next year. but for now (Le Mans picks) its on 10/10ths
 RULES FOR RACE: -Pick the top 3 finishers in EACH CLASS. (P1, P2, GT1, GT2) -Pick the overall top 8 finishing positions. -Pick the Polesitters for EACH CLASS -Pick the car in each class that will drop out FIRST. -Pick the car with the fastest laptime Points Rundown 20pts = 1st 16pts = 2nd 12pts = 3rd 10pts = 4th 8pts = 5th 6pts = 6th 3pts = 7th 2pts = 8th 10pts = Correct Polesitter 10pts = Correct "First Drop Out" 10pts= Correct car with fastest lap time For the top 3 in each class, you have to be accurate. If you are not, you dont get points. For the Top 8, it is split up into 2 groups, 1-3 and 4-8. So if you pick one car to finish 3rd, and it finishes 2nd, you will still get the points. However, if you pick a car to be in 1st place, where it finishes 4th, you will get no points. same as last year(in the FIA GT challenge). Any questions on rules, feel free to ask. i probably explained it in a confusing way lol... DEADLINE FOR 24HRS OF LE MANS ENTRIES IS TUESDAY JUNE 14TH AT 11:00 PM GMT TIME (UK TIME ZONE). so thats 5:00 PM USA CST time. |

I have a question and an observation. First the observation...is it me, or are many of the contest participants forgetting to post the car with the fastest lap (including our contest leader 19dodge)?
Question, for the fastest lap, this is just the car that set the single fastest lap for the race correct? Or is it fastest lap for each class? |

That's how I read it, but we usually do fastest lap for each class, so I was just checking. But some did not post it at all, or at least not that I saw.

to clairify some things. im sorry for not getting back to some of you before the deadline. The Fastest Lap was supposed to be for every class, but i did word it incorrectly, so it was only used for the race as a whole. The Nr 16 Pescarolo did infact have the fastest lap of the race, and people who put that down, got the 10 points.
Second, i reformatted my computer, and i lost all my spreadsheets. so in the points standings, it just has the total points you have up until le mans. (i took that data from the last round, that i found on the forum),.. sorry for the confusion. Lastly, i did not use the above points spread. I instead used the regular 10-8-6-5... one like we usually do, but i did award the Fastest Lap, Polesitter, and first person out 10 points. So this race ended up giving out 20% more points than a usual race in this championship challenge.
