Lou in a Lotus? Yipes!

Are the cars going to be running the Lotus twin-turbo V8 they were supposed to use when they were designed? It'll give them a massive performance boost compared to the Chevy V8 it failed so miserably with.

Who is this Lou.

The car was underpowerd with both engines. Would be interesting to see an Elise GT1 with modifications that would be allowed in LMGTP.

When it used the turbo it did have stupid restrictions that the F1 GTR and CLK-GTR did not have as a hangover from the 911 GT1 in 1996. The FIA didn't cotton on to the fact that the 911 GT1 was so quick because it was a purpose built racing car, as all the cars would be in 1997, not because it had a turbo engine.

Would like to see some old GT1s brought out in LMGTP with modifications to the bodywork etc. as you had with the old 935. Just for fun you understand
