Tin tops at Brands Hatch, Nov.9th

If anyone is interested in two 15 minute races for £190 at Brands Hatch on November 9th please either contact me or Chezza. Most steel bodied saloon cars (Tin Tops) running on either list 1A or 1B tyres should be eligible, if in doubt contact Graham Bahr (aka "Guru"). Regs and entry forms are on the BARC website in the south east centre section.

If i can find some tyres i would like to race only got slicks but iam sure ive got 4 r888s somewhere and iam looking to race in the tintops next season,will i get away with no headlights for one race ?

The tin tops are seperate from the intermarque for this one. Be good if you can join in.

it seems Registration of new drivers is a problem - or is there a way round Regulation 1.4.3 ?

In answer to your question James....yes.
In answer to MGDavid's question, there will be "guest" classes, so regulation 1.4.3 will not apply.

Rovcoup - If you can only cobble up a pair of road legal tyres, (provided I don't get any punctures) I've got two list 1A ****e specials that are mounted on 7x17 rover rims, and fit straight on to a 220 turbo coupe - your'e welcome to borrow them for the day-
I think the ones I'm running on my car are TOYO Proxes T1s, and these two are T1r's - list 1A, so they should drop you down a class !

The tintops will have practice and both races on the Sunday.

Hmm sounds very civilised, unfortunately our car is no longer in one piece, it poked a rod through the side today at Snett and I'm pretty doubtful to locate a good engine and have it ready in time. Hey-ho there's always next year...

Shows my ignorance of all automotive things french - Xantia was a big old beast. Only experience of french cars is blatting around in Matt Smiths BX, truly awful electrics on my brothers Peugeot ( that he put out of it's misery at Madgwick- Goodwood ) and a score draw between the Astra door Mirror and a certain BX door on the GP circuit at Brands !
