Ch.10 again

Someone should tell Ch.10 that the V8 Supercar race program is supposed to show actual racing, not Greg Murphy and some of his mates running around Auckland Harbour in a boat. Surely there is other racing that they could show.

It would be nice if the commentators could call teh right car occassionally as well, like when everyone was trying to lap Whincup, and even Cromley was saying it was Tander...

This all got broadcast over the webcast a few hrs ago, you think it would have gotten tidied up huh

Thank you someone has finally realised that all the Ch10 telecast is going to be about there Golden Boy#51, I could go on but I will not. GTR I thought that Crompton was good as he was at the start of the year but unfortunly his effort have waded towards the end of the year.But then again he is 400% better than B.Woods.

If there was a 2nd pro up there in central commentary it would be brilliant... if Larko retires as he has threatened to in the past, it would be a very good move to get him there to replace B.Woods

Pete, you're probably right. My blood is more red than blue and perhaps that was clouding my judgement.

Skaife does get an awful lot of airtime, probably more than Ambrose, but then Skaife has won 5 championships and 5 Bathursts and is the acknowledged top dog.

Why shouldn't Skaife get airtime? He's the reigning champ, 5 times at that, and with a drive like that one today it's worth showing!

I agree, there were support races happening at Pukekohe that they could have shown, especially as they are not tied to any other Australian network.

Is it funny that Ch10 follow the first three place getters at the start of R3 til the pit stops, then continualy follow them,When 5 cars are in front of them but they continue to say MS is 1st etc, while there are 5 cars in front of him yet to pit. I thought that P1 is leading the race not P5. Ch10 YOU HAVE s*****d up again.

Oh ****e, now we have the Ford drivers on quad bikes. Where will all of this end. Maybe for Eastern Creek we can have the Holden drivers climbing the Three Sisters and the Ford drivers riding a taxi around Sydney. They wouldn't would they.

Maybe they can have a taxi cab race then, line up in Premier, RSL, Legion and St George cabs... and race them around the Sydney hotel forecourts, and up and down the carparks.... YEEHA!!

This annoys me too. The highest placed car of those who have pitted is just that and no more. He is not the leader, he is not the corrected or adjusted leader.

Consider this, what would happen if force majeure forced them to throw the red flag and prevented a re-start. Would they try and give the winner's trophy to the highest placed car of those who have pitted? They better not, I think the leader on the road would have something to say about it.

The clips we saw of the Ford & Holden drivers this weekend were evidence of Channel 10 at it's worst, it is a motor racing telecast & if we wanted to see that sort of T.V. we would be watching lifestyle programs.

Mixxer, if you're summising i watch a lot of V8 Supercars you would be wrong. Only took a glance at it today when TV was on. I probably watched maybe a dozen laps of the Indy races so Ch.10's advertisers would not be happy if i was an indication of their viewers.
By the way Ch.10 i have cable, i can watch all the lifestyle programs i want, if i so choose.
