IRL testing at the Glen
Some pix from my trip to the IRL testing yesterday:
 So a friend gives me a call and asks if I want to join him at the Glen for IRL testing... I figure it was a good chance to go see some IRL cars around a track and maybe, just maybe get some contact with a driver or two, you just never know when the event is informal like a test day at a nearly empty track. We got to the track and made our way around along the fence behind the garages. It wasn't long before I got some pix worth looking at. Danica rides a bike back from her afternoon press conference.  Nice smile, eh? Milka Duno walks in the garage area prior to returning to the track for testing.  Testing begins again and Milka rounds the final turn before heading down the straight.  Danica's crew push her car out to the pit lane.  Marco Andretti lifts his visor as he enters pit lane.  More pix at this link. |
